How to cheat in an AI proctored exam? Trick AI with its Limitations

Why and What is AI proctored Exam?

Due to this corona pandemic, the examination bodies or committees of the universities are left with only one option for conducting their exam, that is online mode. But, they have tried their best to stop students from getting part in unfair-means to attempt the examination. By this, they asked and chose one of the best software companies with higher-level security and AI in their software.

Number of Ways to Crack the AI Proctored Exam

1. Virtualisation ( Using VMware or Virtual Box)

It is one of the safest ways which can trick AI to detect any type of tab switching but, one thing one has to type everything in the search bar for their answer. 2. Study

Obviously, If you have prepared the syllabus you will get the whole out of an exam. But the main point is not just that we are telling you to study, but it is to get the right knowledge, for example, if a cybersecurity or software engineer like us is cheating in the AI proctored exam of the subject Web-pen-testing or Data structures algorithms, then it won’t be a good decision for the career consequences. Also one should have a backup plan too if anything goes wrong, he/she can at least pass or get sufficient graders on his/her own. For example, at least 2 units out of 4 will safeguard you from any type of bad luck ( or any rare case).

3. Mobile Phone and Dual setup

See, the point is AI can only track the things which AI sees through the webcam frame. If it’s not in the view of your webcam it cannot be seen. Also, you will need some psychological plays to trick the real proctor sitting there monitoring you guys. It requires the brain to cheat properly too :P. Even if you add Bluetooth earphones connected with the phone, which is again connected to any discord voice channel and the microphone input is set to 1, they won’t be able to track you.

Now, if you have any extra system in your house, that is either two laptops or a laptop and a computer, also two computers then you can still crack it, by referring to the same epic statement! “AI can only track the things which AI sees through the webcam frame. But, the above setup is not very economical to setup and also feasible to setup in so much less time.

4. Always Active the Browser Tab

Now, The extension given below when added in a google chrome tab lets the browser to spoof the visibility state of the tab and makes all the tab active every time, doesn’t matter if you are looking onto it or have switched it. The logic behind the extension is

“By installing this extension a small script is injected into every webpage which overwrites the
“document.visibilityState”, and “document.hidden” properties to pretend the tab is always in the active state (document.visibilityState = ‘visible’ and document.hidden = false)”
